Float more, scrub less

Float more, scrub less

Help your customers get the most out of pool season with robotic cleaners.

Nothing beats jumping into a cool pool at the end of a hot summer day. But for a lot of frustrated homeowners, they seem to spend more time in the water cleaning rather than floating away their stresses. In fact, most homeowners with pools have to dedicate three hours a week to cleaning. But it doesn’t have to be that way!

Robotic pool cleaners are a great solution to make long hours of maintenance a distant memory. These are simple, cost-effective solutions to pool maintenance. There are generally three types of pool cleaners – skimmers, scrubbers and vacuums. A robotic skimmer will automatically collect debris from the surface, keeping the surface pristine and beautiful. A scrubber on the other hand sits on the floor of the pool and autonomously navigates and cleans — a Roomba for the pool! You can stop there, but if you want to go the extra mile for your customers and help them make sure every nook and cranny of the pool is sparkly clean, they'll want to look into getting the third type of cleaner – vacuums.

There are a variety of benefits to using robotic pool cleaners, including:

  • Efficiency: Robotic cleaners are more efficient than jumping into the pool to manually scrub at the tiles. All they have to do is power it up and it can work while they focus on other matters.
  • Environmental friendliness: Not only do robotic cleaners help your customers spend their time more efficiently, but they are also known to be very energy efficient. They operate on low voltage and can reduce the work the pool’s pump and filter must do, resulting in energy savings that lower the property’s impact on the surrounding environment. Additionally, a well-maintained and clean pool often requires fewer chemicals, which is not only healthier for the environment but better for those enjoying the water.
  • Performance: Thanks to a variety of technological innovations like sensors and advanced algorithms, most pool cleaners are able to map the cleanable space of the pool to ensure comprehensive coverage. And by comprehensive coverage, we mean floors, walls and waterline!
  • Versatility: We mentioned there being both automatic scrubbers and skimmers, but some innovative robotic cleaners have combined the two! In addition to their powerful brushes, some robotic pool cleaner models have water filtration and circulation features, that means they can further enhance the pool water quality and lower maintenance needs even more.
  • Cost-effectiveness: While robotic pool cleaners do require an up-front investment, their energy efficiency will save your customers money in the long run. And if they’ve been spending money on any type of cleaning services, a robotic pool cleaner will make that cost go from a weekly things to maybe once to get the pool set up for the season.
  • User-friendliness: While robotic pool cleaner can sound a bit intimidating to use, these products are designed with user-friendliness in mind! With simple control interfaces and easy-to-clean filter cartridges, homeowners shouldn’t let themselves be intimidated by robotic pool cleaners.

Overall, if your customers are looking to get away from traditional, labor-intensive methods of cleaning their pool, a robotic pool cleaner might be the ticket to saving time and money. A great place to get started looking for the right robotic cleaner is Heritage Pool Supplies, who carry well-known brands like Pentair.
