The IA offers two magazines (Irrigation Today and Irrigation & Lighting) that help their readers keep up to date on the latest trends, technologies and issues in both the agriculture and landscape irrigation industries.
Irrigation TodayIrrigation Today is the IA’s quarterly publication with a focus on agriculture irrigation. The magazine has a printed distribution to over 12,000 growers, IA member manufacturers and distributors, qualified nonmembers and industry stakeholders. A corresponding digital version will reach government agencies, irrigation districts, extension agents, commercial end users and IA’s international stakeholders, for a total distribution of over 26,000. In February 2017, Irrigation Today transitioned from covering landscape and ag irrigation issues to a fully agriculture irrigation-focused magazine.
Irrigation Today content is written by industry experts and covers topics such as new irrigation technologies; energy management; system maintenance; pumps and groundwater; smart technologies and legislative issues affecting the industry.

Irrigation & Lighting is a business publication serving irrigation and landscape lighting contractors, as the official landscape publication of the Irrigation Association. Through its quarterly magazine, news and product newsletters and website, Irrigation & Lighting provides focused news for these industry professionals.
In its five years of publishing business-to-business content for professionals in the greater green industry, the IA discovered a niche in the marketplace for news centered on landscape irrigation and lighting contractors. Because irrigation is the IA’s core competency and lighting is a closely aligned industry, the publication was a natural evolution.
Beginning in 2022, Irrigation & Lighting replaces Irrigation & Green Industry magazine, which was focused on the broader green industry. Irrigation & Lighting’s dedicated team of editorial, sales, creative and circulation staff delivers valuable and reliable news, articles and product information to industry professionals in the following ways.
