January will be a busy month in Las Vegas. The Coffee Shops™ will be present not only at IRE, but also walking the halls of World of Concrete 2026. The event will take place at the Las Vegas Convention Center, with exhibits running from January 20–22. However, attendees are encouraged to plan their visit with the educational program dates in mind, January 19–22.

Monday, January 19 and Tuesday, January 20
PTI Spanish Language Level 1 – Unbonded PT Installation Certification
This Spanish-language certification course will be offered on Monday and Tuesday, giving attendees the chance to enroll on the second day if they cannot attend the first. The training covers the essential fundamentals of unbonded post-tensioning.
Wednesday, January 21
Improve your leadership, make your company more competitive and increase your profitability
This seminar addresses the main challenges companies face when executing projects with excellence, meeting deadlines and ensuring proper payment collection. The session focuses on strengthening leadership to maximize each worker’s capabilities and set the company apart in the market.
The content includes a coaching and feedback methodology designed to boost team confidence and engagement. It also presents real examples of projects carried out with high standards of safety, efficiency and communication.
Fundamental Principles of High-Quality Concrete [BILINGUAL]
As fresh concrete transforms into hardened material, the technical priority shifts from workability to strength and durability. This seminar dives into the microscopic connections that hold concrete together and influence its ability to resist penetration by water, salts and gases.
The course highlights the importance of material quality, mix design, water content control, construction skills and the curing process. It also underscores the importance of collaboration among the industry’s various professionals.
Thursday, January 22
Sealers & Surface Protection to Ensure Proper Selection [BILINGUAL]
This seminar exposes a critical reality: 80% of problems in decorative concrete arise from sealers failing or from poor surface protection selection. The course outlines the four main types of protection used in the industry and the conditions that affect their performance — such as abrasion, contaminants and UV exposure. It also covers maintenance practices and proper repair procedures.
