Project EverGreen

Project EverGreen is a national non-profit organization committed to helping people like you work together to create healthy green space.

We do this through the GreenCare for Communities initiative that revitalize parks and public green spaces in New York City, Detroit and cities across the country.

The GreenCare for Troops initiative which provides free lawn and landscape services to deployed military families.

Calculate your impact with our Clean Air Calculator

Calculate the positive environmental impact of lawns,
trees and shrubs of your properties with the Clean Air Calculator. Our mission is to create a greener, healthier, cooler Earth. Plants and grass sequester carbon and clean the air. Together, we can create healthy green spaces for our neighborhoods.

GreenCare for Troops

Military families face many challenges when their loved one is deployed. Project EverGreen’s GreenCare for Troops connects military families across the nation to complimentary lawn and landscape services.

GreenCare for Communities

Project EverGreen’s GreenCare for Communities initiative transforms public green spaces, making communities healthier and more sustainable. Since 2008, we have restored nearly 200 million square feet of grass, providing cleaner air for 320,000 people every day.

Access to parks and recreational areas promotes an active lifestyle, leading to better physical and mental health. Studies show that time spent in green spaces reduces stress, improves mood, and strengthens social connections.
