Here at Atlanta Landscape Materials, we have trucks and dispatchers ready to coordinate your mulch, dirt and compost delivery in the Greater Atlanta area. We also deliver landscape materials to Doraville, Norcross, Peachtree Corners, Dunwoody and Sandy Springs, just to name a few. We have a variety of truck sizes to accommodate your order. We can deliver a combination of rocks and mulch or dirt as well by using containers on our flatbed truck. And If you don’t need much material or you would prefer to pick it up yourself, we can help you. Do you have a pick-up truck or trailer? Come on by and our friendly yard crew will be happy to load your vehicle on our site. No appointment is necessary. Just make sure to check how much your vehicle can carry.

All aggregates are bulk (loose) so an open bed is required. We are unable to load aggregates into closed bed vehicles with our loaders. All stone products are palletized, which we can load into a truck that may be loaded from the back. Our friendly staff will also be happy to assist in loading stones into small vehicles by hand.

Mulch

We have a large selection of bulk mulch for sale from pine bark mulch to cypress mulch to cedar mulch. Used for covering the ground to insulate plant roots, prevent weeds and decorate the landscape, mulch is the perfect option for all these. We are a leading center for providing mulch to the entirety of the Atlanta area.

Fill dirt, sands, soils and compost

Fill dirt is a type of sandy dirt, occasionally with small pebbles, that is used to fill in holes, level ground or otherwise, change the shape of a landscape. It is absent of peat, compost, mulch and other decomposable matter since that would lead to pockets of air in the filled area.

River sand, also called concrete sand, is mined from rivers for use mainly in construction. It is a rough, beige-brown material most often used for decoration or mixing concrete, though it can be used in applications ranging from fill to horticultural soil amendment, great for anyone from big building businesses to hobby gardeners.

Topsoil is the uppermost layer of dirt, typically reaching a depth no greater than 10 inches. Our topsoil is made from pine compost, dirt and sand, so it’s rich in microbes and peat, making it ideal for growing lawns, vegetables, crops or cultivating flowers.

Our top-shelf compost is in large supply. Ready to use in all soil amendment or gardening applications, compost is a critical element in any garden, farm or planter. Peat like this is awesome. It’s rich in carbon and nitrogen, so it helps your plants grow when mixed with dirt or soil in a proper ratio. Compost is pure organic matter, so it isn’t made for growing plants directly but works great when mixed with soil or dirt, growing your plants big and tall.

Timbers and crossties

Cross ties, also known as railroad ties are an excellent way to add appeal and variety to your landscaping project. In addition to their naturally rugged texture, cross ties are also sturdy and reliable building materials. These cross-tie products can be used to build retaining walls, area dividers, raised beds and reinforce slopes in a landscape design.

Further, landscaping timbers are a popular way to build raised beds for flower and vegetable gardens. This lumber can also be used to reinforce retaining walls or steps for sloped areas. Drainage gravel

Without proper landscape drainage, still water, standing water and surface water all lead to the same thing – root rot.
