That’s a quote from Abraham Lincoln. Old Abe knew what he was talking about. Preparation is key for any project.

At Daich Coatings we encourage our customers to fully read and understand the product directions before starting a project. We also have a full listing of surface preparation steps on our website. Make sure to select the surface you’re working on — concrete, wood or synthetic, because we have instructions for each specific one.

To make your life easier, we have a complete selection of how-to videos on our website and on our YouTube channel. We want your Daich Coatings project to be easy and fun.

Start clean

The best way to get the results you want is to start with a clean surface. This means allowing time for pressure washing outdoors and drying. You may even need to order and use a cleaner/etcher solution to get the exterior surface truly ready to accept the product you want to add on.

It’s exciting to start a new Daich Coatings project. However, because we want the end results to be beautiful and long-lasting for you, that means you have to follow the example set by Old Abe.

1. Read our instructions carefully.
2. Take the time to fully prepare the location you’ll be working on.
3. Let the surface dry before applying the product.
4. Then, enjoy the beautiful results of your efforts!
