Equip Expo winners make changes for the better at home

Learn how Timberly Millar, Kimberly Jacobs and Drew Standfuss each used their prize winnings. 

Winners of Equip Expo’s giveaways have been making big changes for the better since they returned from the blockbuster trade show. They are people like:

Timberly Millar – Fall River, Wisconsin – a first-time attendee who won a $15,000 UTV giveaway says it will definitely improve his landscape contracting business. Millar got to choose which UTV he wanted to purchase with his $15,000 voucher. “I’ve always looked at UTVs, and my wife has been telling me I needed to get one for a long time. Having the Polaris Ranger will allow me to get places I can’t access in my truck, and I’m looking forward to breaking it in come spring.”   

Kimberly Jacobs – Tallahassee, Florida – another first-time attendee, won a $5,000 outdoor power equipment shopping spree that has been life-changing for the small lawn business she owns with her husband. They used the money to outfit their lawn trailer with new equipment racks. “We used most of the money to outfit our lawn trailer with new equipment racks from Equipment Defender, who we met, tested their equipment and ordered from at the show. We now have a sleeker, more professional presence for our customers. Our equipment has a designated spot safety-wise, and most importantly, our equipment is locked up at all times. We could not be more thankful!” said Jacobs.

Drew Standfuss – Montague, Michigan – who got in the giving spirit of the holidays a bit early – and gave away a pickup truck loaded with equipment in the SENIX booth to a young up-and-coming landscaper. “I’m like, man, the truck’s great and I’m grateful. But other people could really use that truck,” said Standfuss.
