Daich coatings earns two 2026 Pro Tool Innovation Awards

Daich Coatings, a leading developer and manufacturer of decorative stone coatings, high-performance paints and architectural maintenance products, today announced that two of its products have earned 2026 Pro Tool Innovation Awards. SpreadRock® WALL won in “Walls and Flooring — Coatings: Exteriors,” while the SpreadStone™ Mineral Select Countertop Finishing Kit OPTIMA Series won in “Walls and Flooring — Coatings: Interior.”

The 2026 Pro Tool Innovation Awards drew nearly 400 entries from more than 100 manufacturers across more than a dozen categories. A panel of industry experts and trade professionals evaluated the entries, selecting products that advance performance, usability, materials and value across the construction, automotive, landscaping, professional trade and DIY markets.

SpreadRock® WALL: Winner for Exterior Coatings

SpreadRock WALL is an authentic three-step, speckled-granite coating system that lets homeowners and contractors create an elegant real-stone finish on wall surfaces at an accessible cost in a weekend project. The system combines primer, trowel-applied granite coating and protective sealer for use on concrete, masonry, cement panels, brick, stucco and drywall. It’s durable and resistant to UV, rain, impact, abrasion, mold and mildew. The easy 3-step process and availability in either 1- or 3-gallon buckets make it easy and flexible for most projects.”

SpreadStone™ Mineral Select OPTIMA Series: Winner for Interior Coatings 

The SpreadStone Mineral Select Countertop Finishing Kit OPTIMA Series gives homeowners a sleek, highly polished real-stone option for refreshing kitchen and bathroom countertops, tables and other surfaces. Designed for application over existing wood, laminate, Formica® and tile, the roll-on system requires no specialized artistic skills and can be completed in three days. A clear urethane topcoat creates a smooth-as-glass overlay, while the finished surface is heat- and impact-resistant, water-repellent and easy to clean. Each kit includes the coatings and applicator tools needed to cover up to 40 square feet and is available in eight stone-inspired colors.

The OPTIMA Series expands the original Mineral Select line with Agate Grey, Black Pearl, Crystal Jade, Dover White, Sea Spray, Stone Lace, Stone Mist and Sun Kiss. Its combination of easy preparation, roll-on stone coats, conditioning, epoxy and urethane protection offers a practical alternative to countertop replacement, pairing approachable installation with a sparkling, polished finish.

The kit uses a three-day, roll-on process with primer, stone coats, sanding, epoxy and a clear urethane topcoat, so no special artistic skill is required. It covers up to 40 square feet, includes the applicator tools and coatings and is designed to resist heat, impact and water. Cleaning is as easy as wiping the surface with household cleaners. The eight-color palette adds a polished, contemporary option for making your countertops look expensive and new.”
