K9 Fasteners is leading the pack with jobsite solutions that are strong and dependable. 

When the founders of K9 Fasteners started their company about 17 years ago, they decided to name their company after their love for humanity’s most loyal companions. “Dogs are kind, faithful, hardworking and honest — that kind of sounds like something we’d like to do for fasteners,” said K9 Fasteners’ Barry Campbell. Started by a small distributor in Wisconsin, K9 Fasteners was born out of a simple desire. “Their heart was to do one thing: help customers do more for less money.” 

Over the years, the company has grown to become a trusted brand in the construction industry. Barry listed some of the performance benefits that have made their products rise above the pack. “Number one, our product is faster than our competitors. Second, it’s stronger. Third: we offer an unparalleled price for performance in our coatings. Lastly: safety to the operator,” Barry shared. “No bloody knuckles here! You can count on the bit fit of our products and do a one-handed install because we engineered the bit and the bit pocket together.” 

Three product lines, each named after a different dog breed, make up the K9 Fasteners family of products. 

Doberman™ deck screws 

First, the Doberman™ line, named for the intelligent and loyal companions, is a wood screw ideal for exterior treated lumber and building projects. Available in one pound, five pounds and ¼ keg quantities, this hardworking screw comes prepared in durable and reusable containers. 

Greyhound™ trim screws 

K9 Fasteners’ Greyhound™ trim screws, inspired by the fast and lean breed, boast a sleek design suitable for every environment.  

"These actually come in three different versions: Yellow Zinc, which is interior only; White Ceramic; and the Tan to match the other two categories of fasteners,” Barry noted. The Tan screw has a slightly bigger head, perfect for treated lumber finish work where smaller trim heads aren’t suitable. Soon, Greyhound trim screws will be available in 100-piece packaging. 

Huskie™ lag screws 

Lastly, the Huskie™ lag screws are named after the strong, hardworking dogs known for pulling heavy loads across long distances. "This is by far the greatest value on the table,” Barry shared. Designed to support heavy loads in any climate, Huskie lag screws are in it for the long haul. “When you use our Huskie lags compared to our competitors, you realize there's no going back.”
